12-foot Tetroon

Click image for full size (new window)

Product ID# TET12

$20.00 USD
Twice as tall as the 6-foot tetroon, but 8 times as much volume - meaning much more lifting capacity! In ideal conditions, it can lift at least 3 pounds (approximately). Use a strong tether - the wind can pull this hard!

Inflate the balloon using a blow dryer or any electric fan (high-velocity fans will fill it up faster). The sun will complete the process and heat up the air inside - the balloon will be ready to fly within a very short time after inflation.

Included with each order is an illustrated instruction sheet explaining how to inflate and tether your balloon, as well as a few extra flying tips.

We currently don't include tether (string) with our balloons. Each balloon, however, has a tab on the mouth where you can attach a tether to keep it from flying away. Check your local hobby shop for some good kite twine or buy a cheap spool of fishing line at your local Walmart or sporting goods store.

Take this giant balloon out on a sturdy tether (we recommend 20-pound test or stronger kite twine or fishing line). It will lift at least a couple pounds in ideal conditions. Definitely more eye-catching than the smaller balloons because of its larger profile. This balloon is great for fun flying as well as small payload-lifting or experimental projects. Keep it away from power lines, trees, or other obstacles and it will give you many hours of flight time.
